Based on the novel by author Tim Sandlin, Kwanten plays a failed writer-cum-dishwasher made famous for his many flaws and shortcomings in a blog.
Jeremiah Chechik will direct from an adapted script by Megan Martin.
Shooting kicks off in August in Banff and Los Angeles.
