Nureyev Gets Biopic

Trudie Styler, Celine Rattray and Davide Azzolini will produce a film adaptation of author Colum McCann's novel "Dancer" says Variety.

The book is reads like a biography of Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev. Born during World War II, he defected at the age of 23 and became one of the best known dancers in the world before dying of AIDS in 1992.


McCann's book tells Nureyev's story from the perspectives of those who knew him.
