The free online combat game is set on a post-apocalyptic human-colonized planet industrialized to the point of collapse. There, the hunt for resources has become a battle for survival.
The team behind the game revealed the news at the Comic-Con 2012 panel for the web series, and confirmed that Bandito Brothers will produce the film.
Waugh is still in talks to direct the film version of Electronic Arts best-selling video game franchise "Need for Speed".
