Kruger Is Abe's Stepmother

Diane Kruger will play Sarah Bush Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln's stepmother, in A.J. Edwards' biopic "The Green Blade Rises" says  Deadline.

This particular film covers three years of his life in the wilderness of Indiana and is an alternate take on the former U.S. President, the hardships that shaped him, the tragedy that marked him forever and the two women who guided him to greatness.

Terrence Malick is producing.  Production kicks off this Fall.
