Satrapi Hears "The Voices"

"Persepolis" director Marjane Satrapi is set to helm the psychological thriller "The Voices" says Deadline.

Michael R. Perry ("Paranormal Activity") wrote the script about a lovable but strange bathtub factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path to salvation.

Matthew Rhodes, Roy Lee, Adam Stone and Cathy Schulman are producing the pic.

Casting is now underway.

Producion is hoped to kick off early next year.
