Hailee Steinfeld has joined Anthony Mandler's new thriller "Dead of Winter" says Variety.
Sarah Conradt's Black Listed has Steinfeld as a teen who heads to a remote cabin in the mountains with her father and new stepmother. When a dangerous fugitive posing as a park ranger shows up, the trio must put aside the family bonding to fight for survival.
Production hopes to kick off in early 2013.
