Until then Marvel has two movies per year on tap while you wait --In 2013 "Iron Man 3", "Thor: The Dark World" and then 2014 has "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," and likely either "Ant-Man" or Guardians of the Galaxy".
The Avengers writer/director Joss Whedon will write and direct the sequel all before his new contract with Marvel expires in June 2015.
"The Avengers" has earned nearly $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office thus far.
