Sheldon Turner is going to adapt author Richard A.Clarke's action-thriller  book "The Scorpion's Gate" into an says Variety.

In this geopolitical thriller, Saudi Arabia falls to a regime potentially hostile to the U.S. and is on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons. A high-ranking American intelligence analyst, a British intelligence agent and a rogue general move to prevent a bellicose defense secretary from plunging the planet into war.

The author is a former intelligence and counter-terrorism official for the U.S. Government.
