RIP Michael Clarke Duncan (1957-2012)

Sad news.

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away yesterday at the age of 54 says THR

Duncan was receiving treatment in a Los Angeles hospital for a heart attack he suffered in July.

The actor broke out in the 90's with a memorable supporting role in "Armageddon" followed by an Oscar nominated turn in "The Green Mile". He's since gone on to star in such films as "Daredevil," "Sin City," "The Scorpion King," "The Island" and "Green Lantern".

Duncan appeared in 4 films with Bruce Willis: Armageddon, Breakfast of Champions, The Whole Nine Yards and Sin City. Willis suggested Duncan for Mile to Frank Darabont--who remembers the actor.

His fiancee, Omarosa Manigault said in a statement from her reps "The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered. Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."
