The story follows a single mother (Cara Gee) struggling to make ends meet as she tries to save her teenage daughter (Shahiyela Pourier-Eyre) from the streets.
Podemski plays Gee's mother, while Kirby is an ex-boyfriend.
Shannon Masters wrote the script from which "Defendor" director Peter Stebbings will call action.
Podemski Geoff Ewart and Heather K. Dahlstrom will co-produce.
Production is underway.
