The Odds Favor Danny Strong To Write Mockingjay

Multi-award -winning "Game Change" and "The Butler" writer Danny Strong has been hired to pen the scripts for the two-film adaptation of  The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1/The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 says Variety.

Strong steps up as "Slumdog Millionaire" scribe Simon Beaufoy had signed on to originally go ahead and adapt author Suzanne Collins' second novel in the series "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire"a while back when Gary Ross was attached to direct. Since Francis Lawrence has replaced Ross, on the currently in production sequel--a new script was commissioned.

Mockingjay Part 1 opens November 21st 2014 while Part 2 hits November 20th 2015.
