Vega Joins "The Jesuit"

Paz Vega has joined the cast of Alfonso Pineda Ulloa's "The Jesuit" says Variety.

The story follows a man (José María Yazpik) who has been falsely imprisoned. When his wife is killed and son kidnapped and taken to Mexico, he devises a dangerous plan to rescue the boy and avenge her death.

Vega will play his ex-wife.

Shannyn Sossamon is playing the woman he hires to masquerade as his wife during his quest for revenge.

Paul Schrader wrote the script.

Alex Garcia, Santiago Garcia Galvan and Jose Martinez Jr. are producing the film.
