Cusack Travels "Airspace"

John Cusack is in negotiations to star in the action-thriller "Airspace" says Variety.

Cusack would play a work-a-holic charter pilot flying home to his family who must escape a sudden attack by a heavily armed MiG fighter jet after a mysterious briefcase located on his plane.

Briana Hartman wrote the screenplay based on a story by Michael B. Chait.

Roger Avary ("Killing Zoe," "Rules of Attraction") is in talks to direct amd has already begun work on script a polish.

Shortly after that news broke it was announcced that Avary would write and take the helm of the long gestating film version of the muse video game Castle Wolfenstein.
