Nolasco Gets Mobbed "In The Blood"

Former "Prison Break" star Amaury Nolasco is set to play a Dominican mob kingpin in the "Taken"-esque action thriller "In The Blood" says Variety.

The story follows a woman (Gina Carano) who tries to track down her husband (Cam Gigandet) after he is kidnapped on their South American honeymoon.

Diego Boneta ("Rock of Ages") will play a local who ends joins her on her search. Stephen Lang will play Carano’s father who raised her to be brutally tough.  Danny Trejo will play a thug named Big Biz.

John Stockwell ("Into the Blue," "Turistas") directs from a script worked on by Bennett Yellin, James Robert Johnston, Sean Finnegan and Gregg Parker

Shaun Redick, Ray Mansfield, Cash Warren and Marina Grasic are producing.

Filming is currently under way in Puerto Rico.
