Abrams Plans Lance Armstrong Biopic


Paramount and J.J. Abrams' production company Bad Robot  are developing a biopic about disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong says THR.

The companies have won the rights to The New York Times reporter Juliet Macur's upcoming work "Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong" due to be publishedin June. Macur covered Armstrong's career for over a decade.

 No director, writer, star or start date have been announced as yet.

Thanks to Armstrong's two-part interview with Oprah Winfrey this week in which he admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs to win a record 7 Tour de France races.
