Espinosa Keen On Grisham's "The Racketeer"

Daniel Espinosa ("Safe House," "Easy Money") is developing a film adaptation of author John Grisham's  latest novel "The Racketeer" which he would then direct says THR.

The story begins with the murder of a federal judge at a lakeside cabin and the contents of his safe being emptied. The only man who knows the whose and whys is a former attorney serving time in federal prison who hopes to parlay that into getting revenge on the people who put him there.

A search for a writer is currently underway.

Espinosa is going to helm "Child 44" starring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace before moving on to this pic
