Fanning And Macdonald Have A "Secret Thing"

Dakota Fanning and Danielle Macdonald have joined the cast of "West Of Memphis" docu filmmaker Amy Berg’s narrative motion picture directorial debut "Every Secret Thing" says Deadline.

Based on author Laura Lippman's book--the story revolves around Ronnie and Alice, two young women convicted and sentenced to seven years in jail for a baby's murder when they were 11. Now released, each attempts to adjust to life outside juvenile detention.When local children start to go missing, the police quickly turn their attention to the pair and their roles in the original murder.

Diane Lane and Elizabeth Banks also star.

Nicole Holofcener is writting the adapted script.

Anthony Bregman and Frances McDormand are producing the film.

Production begins on March 25th in New York.
