Her long-time partner Frank Marshall Tweeted today that "Ms. Kennedy has moved onto Star Wars and will not be producing JP4. She’s traded raptors for TIE fighters."
Marshall remains as s producer while Steven Spielberg will executive produce.
"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver wrote the script for the film.
No director is locked as yet.
The film is has a June 13th 2014 release date.
