Neveldine Sees "The Vatican Tapes"

"Crank" and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" co-director Mark Neveldine is going solo from regular cohort Brian Taylor to helm the horror film "The Vatican Tapes" says Variety.

The story follows a series of events that unfold after a tape gets leaked from the Vatican displaying an exorcism that goes wrong.

Christopher Borrelli wrote the screenplay based from a story concocted by Borrelli and Chris Morgan.

It has been over three years since we've heard about any developments on  the flick. Said to be in the vein of  The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby , this was originally going to be directed by James Marsh.
