Straight No Chaser Gets A Biopic [w/video]

The Vow's Michael Sucsy is attached to helm a is attached to helm a biopic about a cappella group Straight No Chaser says .THR

The group was formed in 1996 and consists of ten Indiana University students. The group played played in such noteworthy places like Wrigley Field and Carnegie Hall, but the members disbanded in 1998.


Years later, in 2006, a video of a 1998 performance was uploaded to YouTube and went viral. The group not only got back together, but quickly signed a five-album deal.

Jack Amiel and Michael Begler will write the script.

Michael Sugar, music executive Craig Kallman and Bard Dorros are producing the film.
