Taylor-Johnson Finds "Reliable" Work"

Nowhere Boy's Sam Taylor-Johnson (wife of actor Aaron Johnson) is in early talks to direct "The Reliable Wife" says Variety.

Based on author Robert Goolrick's novel, the story is set in 1908 and follows a widower who places a newspaper ad for an "honest, reliable wife". Instead, he ends up with devious, dishonest women.

Semi Chellas and Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en) wrote the adapted  script.

Michael De Luca and Jami Gertz will produce the film
