The story follows a young widow (Byrne) who falls for a brash New York writer (Sudeikis) who barrels into her rural Maine town to investigate the death of her husband, a folk-music hero.
Michael McKean, Beau Bridges, Olivia Munn, Blythe Danner and Joe Manganiello co-star.
Sean Mewshaw will direct the film using a screenplay by Desiree Van Til.
Margot Hand, Kristin Hahn, and Aaron L. Gilbert will produce the film.
Production begins in October in Vancouver.
