Finding Nemo 2 Gets Title And Date

Disney/Pixar Animation Studios took to Facebook to announce both the title and release date for "Finding Nemo 2"

Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are both confirmed to be returning to voice Marlin and Dory respectively.

A follow up to the much-loved 2003 animation was announced last year with original co-director Andrew Stanton calling action once more. He’s co-writing the script with Victoria Strouse.

Finding Nemo, made more than $800m worldwide during its original theatrical run and won the Academy Award for best animated film,

The story is set a year after the first film and is set in part along the California coastline.

Director Stanton says: "One thing we couldn't stop thinking about was why [Dory] was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In 'Finding Dory,' she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way."

"Finding Dory" will hit screens on November 25th 2015
