Worthington Enters The "Keeping Roon"

Sam Worthington will join Daniel Barber's untitled period thriller formerly known as "The Keeping Room" says Deadline.

Julia Hart wrote the script that follows two Southern sisters (Brit Marling, Hailee Steinfeld) and a slave (Nicole Beharie) left alone in the closing days of the American Civil War. The trio are soon forced to defend their home from the onslaught of a band of soldiers who have broken off from the fast approaching Union Army.

Worthington plays one of the soldiers.

Jordan Horowitz, Matt Williams, David McFadzean, Judd Payne and Dete Meserve will produce.

Production begins in June.
