RDJ And Favreau Will Dine Together In "Chef"

Robert Downey Jr. will re-team with his "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau on the indie comedy "Chef" says Variety.

 

Favreau, who wrote will direct and also stars as a man who loses his chef job. He soon starts up a food truck to reclaim his artistic prowess and his estranged family.

Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannavale also star.

Favreau, Karen Gilchrist and Sergei Bespalov are producing.

Production begins July 8th in Los Angeles.

This project is not to be confused with the other film called Chef, which has Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy attached to star and Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines) set to helm
