"Carrie Pilby" Will Get A Movie

Susan Johnson will make her feature film directorial debut on a film adaptation of author Caren Lissner's young adult novel "Carrie Pilby" says Variety.

The story centers on a 19-year-old former prodigy who has graduated Harvard University with no emotional resources and no idea how she fits into the world.

The hope is that the film can be funded via a Kickstarter campaign.

 Suzanne Farwell and Susan Cartsonis will produce.
