Green Lantern Scribe Tackles Blade Runner Sequel

The Wrap reports that Green Lantern co-writer Michael Green has been hired to take on the job of  reworking the script for the Blade Runner Sequel.

Original "Blade Runner" co-scribe Hampton Fancher had been at work on the script for new film for director Ridley Scott. Scott Z. Burns was in talks to write the script at one point.

Fancher and David Peoples adapted the script for the 1982 sci-fi classic based upon author Philip K. Dick's story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Little is known about the plot, but according to site, "it will be set some years after the conclusion of the influential first film." Attempts are underway to try to get Harrison Ford to reprise his role as
Rick Deckard.

Scott, Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Bud Yorkin and Cynthia Sikes Yorkin will produce the pic.
