Prada's McKenna Charts "Rochester" Script

Fox 2000 has picked up the rights to the upcoming graphic novel "Rochester" says Heat Vision.

The story is described as a contemporary telling of author Charlotte Bronte's 1847 classic "Jane Jane Eyre". That book followed an orphaned girl who becomes an governess at the estate of the wealthy Edward Rochester, an estate seemingly haunted by a secret of the man's past.

"The Devil Wears Prada" scribe Aline Brosh McKenna is charged with writing the adapted script.

McKenna and Simon Kinberg will produce the film.
