Actor Simon Pegg recently visited Marvel's NYC office and posed for a photo in front of some art, art that included a picture of the Ant-Man character.
Pegg's pal and long time collaborator Edgar Wright is making the "Ant-Man" film, and so fans assumed Pegg was using the photo to hint that he would be playing the small superhero .
The pair have shot down the talk. Wright tweeted "No, Simon Pegg is not Ant-Man". Pegg soon followed, up by tweeting: "All I did was point at the central character in my friend's next movie, because I'm excited for him. I am not Ant-Man."
Despite the title "The Avengers: Age of Ultron' the team up sequel will NOT follow the Age of Ultron comics storyline in that Ant-Man Hank Pym will not create Ultron.
This led to speculation that the upcoming "Ant-Man" film would opt out of using the Pym character for his big screen debut
Wright confirmed to io9 that Pym will be in his movie .
