Fukunaga Charts A "Noble Assassin"

Cary Fukunaga ("Jane Eyre," "Sin Nombre") is poised to direct a film adaptation of writer Paul Kix's
book proposal "Noble Assassin" says Heat Vision.

The true story tale follows a privileged French aristocrat named Robert de La Rochefoucauld. When the Nazis invaded and imprisoned his father, he fled and joined the British Special Operations Executive. Trained as a safecracker and killer, he returned to France to help organize the resistance. He blew up train stations and munitions factories, and twice escaped execution.

Fukunaga will also produce the film.
