The story centers on Earth's creator Gawd (Tommy Chong), who, desperate to save the world, travels to the planet to reconnect with mankind via a nightly variety show.
Perry plays an arrogant network exec Jeffrey Siegel, Mader is Holly Abrahams Gawd's producer and Perry's love interest.
Writer-director-composer Gerald Brunskill penned the script and will make his feature directorial debut with the movie.
Randy Bobbitt and Ryan Rees are set produce the pic.
Production begins next month in downtown Los Angeles.
