Mostow Steps In For Noyce On "For The Dogs"

Jonathan Mostow will take over as director of the indie action thriller "For The Dogs" says Variety.

Based on author Kevin Wignall's novel and centers on a solitary assassin (Sam Worthington) who agrees to help a bright teenage girl (Hailee Steinfeld) exact revenge on those who mercilessly murdered her parents and younger brother.

Mostow replaces Phillip Noyce at the helm of the project.Oren Moverman will re-wrote a script by Paul Leyden.

Worthington, Leyden, Anthony Rhulen, Navid McIlhargey, John Schwarz and Michael Schwarz will produce.

Production begins this Fall.
