Danny Boyle Goes For A "Smash and Grab"

Filmmaker Danny Boyle is attached to a direct a film adaptation of the documentary "Smash and Grab" says Variety.

The story revolves around the world’s most successful diamond thieves who take the audience into the dark world of the international jewel trade.

The docu combined real-life surveillance footage with interviews of several of the gang members.

Directed by Havana Marking, the doc was released this summer.

Christian Colson will produce the narrative adaptation.
