Johnson Shakes Out A Deal To Star In "San Andreas"

Dwayne Johnson will reunite with his "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" director Brad Peyton for the earthquake disaster feature "San Andreas" says Heat Vision.

Andre Fabrizio, Jeremy Passmore, Chad Hayes Carey Hayes and have all former "Lost" co-showrunner Carlton Cuse have worked on the script which is set after a devastating earthquake hits California.

The story sees a rugged rescue-helicopter pilot (Johnson) making a perilous trip across the state to rescue his estranged daughter.

Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson will produce.

Production is slated to begin April 2014 for a 2015 release.
