Inspired by true events, the action follows eleven-year old Dylan (Oxenbould), who is brought up by his father (Worthington) in a remote Australian country town. Dylan's life changes when he wins a place in the regional Paper Plane Championships in Sydney. Battling nerves and private schoolboy nemesis Jason (Nicholas Bakopoulos-Cooke), for a spot at the World Championships in Japan.
Lapaglia plays the role of a former Fa Cup star and Jason's father.
Robert Connolly and Steve Worland wrote the script from which Connolly calls action
Maggie Miles and Liz Kearney are producing the movie.
Production is currently underway.
