Shyamalan And Willis Share A "Labor Of Love"

Deadline reports that M. Night Shyamalan is in talks to in talks to reunite with his "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" star Bruce Willis for "Labor Of Love".


The script is one of the very first screenplays that Shyamalan sold almost twenty years ago and, unlike his later stuff, there's no supernatural twist. At the time the suits at Fox didn't want to make it because the then unknown Shyamalan wanted to direct.

Willis will play a Philadelphia book store owner who loses the love of his life in a tragic accident. Never big on words, he becomes haunted by the notion that he never properly told his wife how much he loved her.Since she once asked if he would walk across the country for her, he decides to show her posthumously just how much he did love her by walking from Philadelphia to Pacifica in California.

Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce the pic.

 Production hopes to begin by mid-September in Philadelphia.
