The Oscar winning actor will play the father of a 35-year-old woman named Ruth (Sonja Bennett) who fakes being pregnant so she can fit in with her friends.
Danny Trejo is also attached to star as Pedro, a ganja-smoking illegal immigrant with five kids of his own — and Ruth’s accomplice/confidante.
Laura Harris, Paul Campbell, and Jared Keeso also star.
Jacob Tierney will direct the film using a script that Bennett wrote.
Kevin Eastwood and Dylan Collingwood will produce the movie.
Production is already underway in Vancouver, B.C.
