Yeun And Day Have A Taste For "Chew"

Heat Vision reports that The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun and Supernatural guest star Felicia Day will lend their vocal talent to the animated film adaptation of the popular comic book called "Chew"

The story centers on a detective who is a "cibopath," a person who gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats. It is also set in a world where bird meats are illegal after bird flu killed millions of Americans.

Yeun is voicing the detective, Tony Chu. Day is voicing his love interest, a food critic who can write about food so precisely the reader actually feels like they are tasting it.

Jeff Krelitz ("Torchwood: Web of Lies") is directing the project from a script by John Layman.

Krelitz and  David Boxenbaum are producing the motion picture.

The film is expected to get a digital broadcast and home entertainment release.
