John Malkovich is in early talks to join"Reagan," a biopic about the life of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan says THR
Malkovich would play a retired KGB agent Viktor Petrovich who was assigned to track Reagan--A committed anti-communist crusader, Reagan went from being a Hollywood actor to become the U.S. president. The film covers events from Petrovich's point of view up until the day of the attempted assassination on Reagan's life.
The script by Howie Klausner is based upon author Paul Kengor's books "A Spiritual Life" and "The Crusader". Stephen Frears is currently tipped to direct the project.
