Morena Baccarin Is A Member Of Feig's "Spy" Network

One of my faves Morena Baccarin ("Homeland," "Firefly") has joined the cast of Paul Feig's new action comedy "Spy" (formerly known as "Susan Cooper") says Heat Vision.

Feig and his "Bridesmaids" and "The Heat" star Melissa McCarthy are re-teaming for a third time with this film in which McCarthy stars as an unlikely secret agent who heads into the field to find whoever is responsible for the death of her lover and colleague (Jude Law).

Baccarin will play one of the agency's deadly top spies.

Jason Statham, Rose Byrne Bobby Cannavale Nia Long and Miranda Hart also star.  Rapper/actor 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) will be playing himself in the film. British actor/comedian Peter Serafinowicz, Bollywood regular Nargis Fakhri, Swedish comedian Bjorn Gustafsson and Ukrainian drag queen pop star Verka Serduchka will also appear.

Feig, Jesse Henderson Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping will produce the film.

Production is currently underway in Budapest. The comedy is due to open next May.
