The first two films starred Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, and Barbara Hershey. it’s unclear if any of them will actually return
"Saw" and "Insidious" writer/actor Leigh Whannell will direct here. He wrote and starred as 'Specs' in the first two films and is expected to do so again for this one, as well as calling action
Director James Wan said that Insidious: Chapter 2 was his last horror film. He's now hard at work on Fast & Furious 7 but remains onboard as producer with Jason Blum and Oren Peli
The film is slated to begin shooting on July 7th ahead of an April 3rd 2015 release.
