James Ransone Joins Western "In A Valley Of Violence"

James Ransone ("Generation Kill," "Inside Man")has joined the cast of the 1890s-set Western "In A Valley Of Violence" says Deadline.

The story follows a drifter (Ethan Hawke) with nothing to lose who seeks revenge on the thugs who killed his best friend.

Ransone will play the son of John Travolta's character.

Karen Gillan and Taissa Farmiga also star as hotel operating sisters who help the drifter in his quest for vengeance.

Ti West will direct the project from his own script.

Jason Blum, Jacob Jaffke and Peter Phok are set to produce the film.

Production begins in late June.
