Fox has hired Bryan Cogman, known for his work on HBO's "Game of Thrones" to pen the adapted script for their planned film version of the popular card game "Magic: The Gathering" says Deadline.
First introduced in 1993, the role-playing fantasy game became the forerunner of a growing card game movement.Involving
wizards, creatures, weapons and spells that have various levels of
strength, certain cards were quite rare which made them valuable
commodities on the collectors market.
No director is attached yet.
Simon Kinberg, Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis will produce the film
