"Star Wars" Stays In The UK

The UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne (the Minister of Finance/Secretary of the Treasury) has confirmed that another "Star Wars" feature film will be produced across the pond Pinewood Studio where  J.J. Abrams is currently filming "Star Wars: Episode VII .

Osborne revealed the news via his Twitter feed:

He is most likely referring to "Godzilla" reboot director Gareth Edwards as yet untitled 1st Spin-Off Film which is rumored to chart Boba Fett's life as a bounty hunter leading up to his capture of Han Solo.

It seems as though Disney/Lucasfilm and the "Star Wars" franchise will settle in at Pinewood for much of the next decade, in the same way that Leavesden Studios became the regular home of the Harry Potter film series
