Wan's "Malignant Man" Comic Becomes A Movie

Deadline reports that Fox has acquired the film rights to the graphic novel "Malignant Man".

"Saw" director James Wan co-created the comic and will develop and possibly direct the feature film adaptation.
  
Michael Alan Nelson co-wrote the comic which follows Alan Gates, a terminal cancer patient who discovers his malignant tumor is actually a mysterious parasite. Given a second lease on life thanks to new supernatural abilities, he must fight an evil army even as he starts unlocking the secrets of his past.

Wan, Stephen Christy and Ross Richie will produce the film.
