Elle Fanning ("Maleficent") is set to star as author Mary Shelley in the period bio-romance "A Storm in the Stars" says THR,
The story charts the passionate love affair between charismatic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and the well-educated 17-year-old Mary Wollstonecraft (Fanning). A year later, after they were married, she would write one of history's most greatest literary works, "Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus".
Acclaimed female Saudi Arabian filmmaker Haifaa Al-Mansour ("Wadjda") will helm using a script by Emma Jensen.
