RIP Robin Williams (1951-2014)

What sad news..,Oscar winning actor and comedian Robin Williams has died of an apparent suicide via asphyxiation. He was 63.


He was found in his home. His publicist said the actor had been battling depression of late.
This is a tragic and sudden loss,” his publicist Mara Buxbaum said in a statement. “The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

Williams was born on July 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. Robin briefly studied political science, before enrolling at Juilliard to study theater. After he left Juilliard, he performed in nightclubs where he was discovered for the role of Mork on an episode of Happy Days and the subsequent spin-off Mork & Mindy . Williams' wild comic talent involves a great deal of improvisation, following in the footsteps of his idol Jonathan Winters. Williams was quite rhe dramatic actor. He received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Good Will Hunting.



He had memorable turns in Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King,  Good Will Hunting, World's Greatest Dad, Insomnia and  One Hour Photo.
