Neil Burger Charts "All The Old Knives" Movie

Neil Burger ("Divergent," "The Illusionist") has signed on to direct the film adaptation of author Olen Steinhauer's thriller novel "All The Old Knives" says Deadline.

The story follows two former lovers - Henry is a CIA agent posted in Vienna, and Celia who retired from the agency five years ago. The pair reunite for dinner in an idyllic town where talk turns towards an infamous plane hijacking which left all onboard dead and is considered the Vienna station's greatest failure to date. As dinner progresses, it becomes clear one of them won't make it out alive.

Steinhauer penned the adapted screenplay.
