Sean Maher Rides On “Isra-88”

“Firefly” and “Serenity” co-star Sean Maher has landed a lead role in the sci-fi thriller “Isra-88” reports The Wrap.

The story follows a spaceship, ISRA-88, and its crew, who are tasked with uncovering the end of the universe.

Maher will play scientist Dr. Abe Anderson, who breaks down during the prolonged mission.

 Adrienne Barbeau and Casper Van Dien also star in the film.

Thomas Zellen's calling action here using a script he wrote with Jordan Champine.

Zellen is also producing.

Production begins later this month in Michigan.
