Martin Campbell May Chart "G.I. Joe 3"

"Casino Royale" and "Green Lantern" director Martin Campbell is reportedly the top choice to take the helm of G.I. Joe 3 for Hasbro and Paramount.according to Schmoes Know. The site claims official negotiations have not yet begun, but the job is essentially Campbell's if he wants it,

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" director Jon M.Chu was due back behind the camera, now that's no longer the case.


The new film will center on "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson’s character Roadblock. Adrianne Palicki is also expected to reprise her role as Lady Jaye. 

Jonathan Lemkin ("Shooter," "Devil's Advocate") has been hired to take over the scripting duties from  Snow White and the Huntsman writer Evan Daugherty who previously worked on the script.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura returns to produce the latest installment.

Filming is aiming to begin in the first half of next year.
